Pokémon Trainers
Standard Trainers
Trainers listed here do not include Gym Leaders, Elite Four, Champions or Rivals.
Trainers, like in the mainline Pokémon games, are generally weaker than Gym Leaders or a player's Rival.
Likewise, they tend to show up between these bigger encounters.
When a player encounters a Trainer they will face them in a Pokémon Battle.
If the trainer type has a double variant, there's a 33% chance of it being a double battle.
If a player defeats a Trainer, they are rewarded with money.
-
Trainers come in many different types and have various Pokémon pools with which their teams can be made from.
Only certain types of Trainers will appear in certain Biomes.
The player will
NOT encounter Trainers while in the Biomes listed
here.
Trainers will never appear on a wave ending in the numbers 1 or 0 (i.e., 1, 30, 51, etc.).
Trainers cannot have pseudo-legendary, legendary, or mythical Pokémon, unless those Pokémon are placed in their set Pokémon Pools.
Below are sections for each Trainer type with Pokémon pools and any other relevant information.
