Pokémon Trainers
Standard Trainers
Trainers listed here do not include Gym Leaders, Elite Four, Champions, or Rivals.
- Trainers, like in the mainline Pokémon games, are generally weaker than Gym Leaders or a player's Rival.
- Likewise, they tend to show up between these bigger encounters.
- When a player encounters a Trainer they will face them in a Pokémon Battle.
- If the trainer type has a double variant, there's a 33% chance of it being a double battle.
- If a player defeats a Trainer, they are rewarded with money.
- Trainers appear in Classic Mode, Challenge mode and in Daily Runs.
- Trainers come in many different types and have various Pokémon pools with which their teams can be made from.
- Only certain types of Trainers will appear in certain Biomes.
- The player will NOT encounter Trainers while in the Biomes listed here.
- Trainers will never appear on a wave ending in the numbers 1 or 0 (i.e., 1, 30, 51, etc.).
Trainers cannot have pseudo-legendary, legendary, or mythical Pokémon, unless those Pokémon are placed in their set Pokémon Pools.
Below are sections for each Trainer type with Pokémon pools and any other relevant information.
